IMAGING CHARACTERISTICS OF 18FDG - PET/CT IN PRIMARY LUNG CANCER PATIENTS AT HOSPITAL 19-8
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: To describe the imaging characteristics of 18FDG - PET/CT in patients with primary lung cancer at 19-8 Hospital. Research subjects and methods: prospective study on 60 newly discovered non-small cell lung cancer patients, who were scanned with 18FDG PET/CT at the imaging department, Hospital 19- 8 from April 2021 - August 2023. Results: The average SUVmax value of the primary tumor was 13.84±7.15, most patients had an SUVmax of the primary tumor of 10-15 (63.33%). The larger the tumor size and the higher the T stage, the higher the SUVmax TB value. The average SUVmax value of regional lymph nodes in the size group over 10mm (10.91±6.25) is larger than the group with lymph nodes less than 10mm in size (5.89±2.63). There is no difference in regional lymph node cell SUVmax based on the N. There is no difference in primary tumor cell SUVmax based on the M and histological types. Conclusion: The average SUVmax value of the primary tumor is 13.84±7.15. The larger the tumor size and the higher the T stage, the higher the SUVmax TB value. The average SUVmax value of regional lymph nodes in the size group over 10mm is larger than that in the group of nodes with size less than 10mm. There is no difference in the average SUVmax of regional lymph nodes based on the N. There is no difference in the average SUVmax of primary tumors based on the M and histological types.
