VARIOUS ORGAN MUCOSA-ASSOCIATED LESIONS IN BEHÇET SYNDROME: A CASE REPORT
Main Article Content
Abstract
Behçet syndrome – a rare chronic vasculitis disorder marked by the emergence of ulcerative signs, particularly in the mucosal area. Recurrence, constant change, and even irreparable organ damage are all possible outcomes of these symptoms in various organs. The medical condition makes the sufferer uncomfortable and exerts a detrimental effect on their emotional and physical well-being. We report a case of a patient with visceral and mucocutaneous complications associated with Behçet disease. For three years, the patient has received numerous examinations and treatments, but no clear cause has been identified. The delay between early symptoms and a verified diagnosis of Behçet's illness is extremely long. Therefore, systemic vasculitis should be considered as a differential diagnosis, especially when symptoms present in numerous organs in daily clinical practice.
