Abstract

Objective: The study aims to describe some impacts of COVID-19 on district health worker participating in against COVID-19 in 7 key provinces and cities in 2021-2022. Research design: Cross-sectional study. Research results: Of the 249 district health worker participating in the study, the majority had university degrees (55.8%), and only 12.5% had Master/CK1 degrees. Meanwhile, only 1 health worker (0.4%) has a CK2 degree and more than 30% of health workers have college degrees (19.7%) and health vocational degrees (11.6%). During the first COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, the average time district health workers had contact with COVID-19 patients or people suspected of being infected was at the highest rate of about 8-12 hours/day (32.4%). By 2022, up to 32.7% of district health workers will have to come into contact with patients or people suspected of being infected for an average of ≥12 hours/day. There are 66 (26.5%) people who did not have COVID-19 during the entire process of participating in fighting the pandemic in 2021 and 2022. The number of district health workers infected/suspected of having COVID-19 accounts for the highest rate with 153 (61.5%). The incidence of COVID-19 when participating in against at the facility where they are working is the most common context (57.9%) of district health workers. There are 2 healthcare workers who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 due to a history of hypersensitivity to vaccination. The rate of vaccination with 3 or more injections among district health workers accounts for 89.6%. Conclusion: COVID-19 negatively impacts the physical health of district health workers directly participating in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021-2022.
