Abstract

Objects: To evaluate the LMA effectiveness in airway controlling for patient undergoing gastroscopy. Methods: Descriptive and prospective study on 50 patients who received anesthesia by LMA Gastro Airway for upper gastrointestinal interventional endoscopic procedures. Results: Vh is between 4% and 6%. The value of Ppeak is stable and within the allowable range. Patients maintained an SpO2 of 98 – 100%. The medianend-tidal CO2 during the procedure for all patients was between 30 and 36 mmHg. Conclusion: LMA Gastro Airway is a device with good respiratory control, ensuring safe and effective ventilation.
