Abstract

Objective: To describe the learning environment of Y6 general practitioner students about the learning environment at Hanoi Medical University, school year 2021-2022 and some related factors. Methods: cross-sectional description on 439 final year of general practitioner students. Results: The overall average score on the learning environment according to the DREEM scale is 128.23±15.50 (maximum score: 200). Among the 5 components, "students' evaluation of lecturers" has the highest score of 32.02/44 points and "students' social environment" has the lowest score of 16.71/28 points. Students with average family finances tend to rate the learning environment as more positive than students with poor family finances (OR=12.06); Students with a high level of interested in the medical profession tend to rate the learning environment as more positive (OR = 1.91). Recommendations: It is necessary to encourage students to join student clubs, organize soft skills training sessions to help students be confident in study and life, and at the same time create a better social environment, thereby inspiring love. medical profession, helping students study better.
