REVIEW THE RESULTS OF TREATMENT OF PELVIC INFLAMMATORY DISEASE AT PHU THO OBSTETRIC & PEDIATRIC HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objective: To review the results of treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) at Phu Tho Obstetric & Pediatric Hospital. Methods: A retrospective descriptive study on 105 patients with PID at Phu Tho Obstetric & Pediatric Hospital from 01/2020 to 12/2022. Results: The common lesion was pelvic adhesions (84.8%). Damage to fallopian tubes were adhesive inflammation (85.7%), dilated (83.8%), pus (52.4%). The common intervention was removing adhesions 100%, and 81.0% of abdominal drainage after surgery. Intervention in surgery mainly cut two fallopian 60.0%. The average time of surgical was 78.36 ± 28.69 minutes. The average time of postoperative was 6.28 ± 1.82 days. Medical treatment: combination with 2 groups of antibiotics 55.2%; 1 groups of antibiotics 28.6% and combination with 3 groups of antibiotics 16.2%.
