Abstract

Objective: Describe clinical and paraclinical characteristics and obstetric management methods in pregnant women giving birth at Thanh Hoa hospital of obstetric and gyneacology from January 2019 to December 2021. Methodology: This is cross sectional study. Results: The rate of detection of uterine fibroids during cesarean section and uterine control accounted for 47.3%, pregnant women with one fibroid accounted for 67.3%, fibroid size 5 - 10 cm accounted for 49.7%, The rate of uterine fibroid removal in the group with tumor size less than 10cm and having one or two fibroids is much higher than the group with tumor size > 10cm and many fibroids. Conclusion: Pregnant women often discover fibroids during labor, and the tumors are usually single and less than 10cm in size. The size and number of tumors are related to the method of treating uterine fibroids during cesarean section.
