Abstract

Objective: Describe some of the clinical and paraclinical characteristics in cirrhosis patients  according to traditional medicine. Subjects and methods: The described cross-section study on 175 people with inpatient cirrhosis. Results: Prevalence of cirrhosis according to traditional medicine: “can uat ty hu” 21.7%, “khi tre huyet u” 29.7%, “thap nhiet uat ket” 20%, “thuy thap noi tro” 8.6%, “ty than duong hu” 9.7% and “can than am hu” 10.3%. The most common causes of cirrhosis are alcoholic cirrhosis and the HBV virus, which do not differ in the classification of cirrhosis. Clinical symptoms often fatigue, anorexia, jaundice, abdominal pain and ascites. Common paraclinical symptoms are a decrease in prothrombin, a decrease in albumin, an increase in serum total bilirubin, thrombocytopenia, anemia there are differences between the classification of cirrhosis according to traditional medicine, which are valid for reference in the classification of cirrhosis.
