Abstract

Objectives: Survey the anxiety level of post-Covid-19 patients at the Internal Medicine Department of Saigon General Hospital and survey the correlation factors affecting the patient's anxiety level. Materials and methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study with 77 patients participating in the study. Use the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) questionnaire. There are 20 questions with 15 increasing anxiety level questions and 5 decreasing anxiety level questions. Read the results: Questions 5, 9, 13, 17, 19 count 4, 3, 2, 1 from left to right, the rest count 1, 2, 3, 4. Diagnostic Suggestions: o No anxiety: ≤ 40 points. o Mild anxiety: 41 – 50 points. o Moderate anxiety: 51 – 60 points. o Severe anxiety: 61 – 70 points. o Very severe anxiety: 71 – 80 points. Results: Patients with mild anxiety accounted for 52.8%, moderate anxiety accounted for 2.8%; There is no severe or very severe anxiety. Age and gender had no correlation with anxiety level (p>0.05). Occupation has a statistically significant correlation p<0.05. Conclusion: After covid 19, most of patients have mild to moderate anxiety. Age and gender were not correlated with anxiety levels. Occupation is correlated with anxiety levels.
