Abstract

Objective: Describe the current situation of proactive detection of tuberculosis according to the 2X strategy in the community of Thai Nguyen province in the period of 2020 - 2023. Analyze some factors affecting the proactive detection of tuberculosis according to the 2X strategy in the community of Thai Nguyen province in the period of 2020 - 2023. Research method: Descriptive research method. Cross-sectional research design combines quantitative with qualitative. Results: The proportion of people actively screened for tuberculosis according to the 2X strategy was 0.8% of the population. The highest rate will be in 2020, accounting for 1.6% of the population. Some factors affecting the proactive detection of tuberculosis according to the 2X strategy in the community in the period 2020 - 2023: Human resources to serve the active detection of tuberculosis according to the 2X strategy in the community from the provincial level to the district, city and commune, ward and town levels were lacking, weak and unstable, especially at the commune and ward levels. People have not been widely propagated about tuberculosis, and discriminatory attitudes still exist. Conclusion: The tuberculosis control program in Thai Nguyen province needs to further promote the work of enhancing tuberculosis detection, especially proactive detection of tuberculosis in the community. It is necessary to raise people's awareness about tuberculosis.
