THE RESULTS OF ENDOSCOPIC TREATMENT OF BILATERAL INGUINAL HERNIA IN CHILDREN WITH ENDO NEEDLES

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the results of endoscopic treatment of endoscopic treatment of bilateral inguinal hernia in children with Endo needles. Materials and methods: Descriptive retrospective and prospective study, including 114 patients under 16 years of age, regardless of gender, diagnosed and treated bilateral inguinal hernias with laparoscopic surgery combined with Endo needleat Hai Phong Children’s hospital from 3/2022 to 3/2023. Result: The mean age was 46,9 ± 31,2 months of age; 100% of patients were taken to the doctor with symptoms of a bulging mass in the groin/scrotum/labia majora; 8.5% of patients (4/47) were found to have bilateral inguinal hernias before surgery; the mean operation time was 24,7 ± 6,2 minutes, the mean length of hospital stay was 4,04 days; no patients had recurrent inguinal hernia. Conclusion: Laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery in children with Endo needle is safe and high effective method.
