SOME FACTORS RELATED TO QUALITY OF LIFE OF PSORIASIS PATIENTS EXAMINED AT DERMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF NAM DINH GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2021

Abstract

Objective: To identify some factors related to quality of life of psoriasis patients examined at the Dermatology Department of Nam Dinh General Hospital. Method: Research subjects were 50 patients over 16 years old diagnosed with psoriasis who came for examination at the Dermatology Department of Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital. Cross-sectional descriptive research method. Results: Research results show that the average value of the DLQI index in the group has a mild, medium and severe illness area. The difference is statistically with p = 0.002 <0.01. The average quality of life according to the disease level of the PASI index has a difference between groups (p = 0.02 <0.05), especially two light and medium groups. The difference has p = 0.001 <0.01. Conclusion: There are two factors that affect the quality of life of people with psoriasis: the area of affected skin and the severity of the disease.
