Abstract

Objective: To survey the rate and characteristics of lipid metabolism disorders in patients with acute myocardial infarction with ST elevation. Study subjects: Patients diagnosed with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction admitted to the Emergency Department, Huu Nghi Hospital from November 2020 to November 2023. Research method: Cross-sectional description. Results and conclusions: The 46 patients studied had an average age of 73.33 ± 10.52 years, 82.6% were male. The rate of lipid rash in patients with ST-segment elevation acute MI is 84.8%, of which: simple lipid rash accounts for 28.3%; Combined lipid rash accounts for 56.5%. The rates of increased blood cholesterol, blood triglycerides, HDL-C, and LDL-C were 28.3%, respectively; 56.5%; 60.9% and 56.5%. The rate of LDL-C ≥ 1.4 mmol/l is high: 95.7%, so there needs to be a reasonable strategy to control blood lipids and achieve the target LDL-C < 1.4 mmol in patients with infarction.
