SURVEY OF CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND CLASSIFICATION OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE PATTERN IN PATIENTS WITH PROLONGED COVID-19 IN HANOI TRADITIONAL MEDICINE GENERAL HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objective: The study aimed to survey the clinical characteristics and classification of traditional medicine pattern in patients with prolonged COVID-19 at Hanoi Traditional Medicine General Hospital. Subjects: 200 COVID-19 patients treated at Hanoi Traditional Medicine General Hospital. Methods: cross-sectional descriptive study design, random sampling. Results: Regarding general characteristics, 100% of patients had mild disease; 57% of patients were between the ages of 30 and 59; the majority were women (67.5%); 78.5% of patients had illness lasting more than one month; 100% of patients have been vaccinated, with 92% have received all three doses; patients mainly treat symptoms (90.5%). Regarding clinical characteristics, common symptoms: 82.5% fatigue; 57.5% insomnia; 53.5% persistent cough; 53% had pain all over the body; 45% tongue material pale, thick moss; 32.5% short of breath; 38% dry mouth. Regarding traditional medicine diseases, 47.5% of patients have lung, spleen, and qi deficiency, and 33.5% have qi and yin deficiency
