Abstract
Objective: Evaluating the effects of electroacupuncture to support the treatment of patients with lower limb peripheral nerve complications (blood stasis) due to type 2 diabetes and Describes some factors related to hemostatic peripheral neuropathy complications due to type 2 diabetes. Subjects and methods: 62 patients with peripheral neuropathy complications due to type 2 diabetes. Results: The mean age was 67,95 ± 7,43 (age); the majority of disease duration > 5 years (50%). Common clinical symptoms are numbness, burning, pins and tingling (76,7%). Patients with glycemic control according to HbA1c (8.5% to 11%) at the time of examination were bad (43,3%). Patients with good glucose control have better treatment results than in groups of patients with uncontrolled glucose.
