Abstract

Objective: Evaluating the nursing practice capacity of nurses at Thai Nguyen province's traditional medicine hospital in 2022. Subjects and research methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study on 65 nurses working at Thai Nguyen province traditional medicine hospital in 2022. Results: Achievement rate according to the standards of care practice capacity: 02 standards with the highest achievement rate of over 90% are Safe and effective use of medication at 92.3%, cooperation with members of the care team squirrel 90.8%. And the 02 standards with the lowest achievement rate below 70% are effective use of communication channels and audio-visual means in communicating with patients and their families reaching 67.6%, Identifying needs and organizing health guidance and education for individuals, families and communities reached 69.2%. Conclusion: Nursing care practice competency scores are at a good level. It is necessary to further strengthen training courses for nurses to further improve the capacity to practice care.
