Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the results in improving cervical nerve root syndrome and the daily activities of ultrasound therapy combined with electroacupuncture and pressure massage in patients due to cervical scapulohumeral syndrome. Subjects and Methods: Prospective controlled interventional study, compare between before and after treatment. Sixty patients were divided into 2 groups: the study group was administered ultrasound therapy combined with using electroacupuncture  and pressure massage. The control group was administered electroacupuncture combined with using pressure massage. Results: After 15 days of the treatment, the degree of improving cervical nerve root syndrome,  the degree of improving the daily activities according to the NDI scale improved compared to before treatment (p < 0.05) and the study group was better than the control group (p < 0.05)
