CURRENT STATUS OF SELF-CARE KNOWLEDGE OF CIRCULAR PATIENTS WITH OUTPATIENT TREATMENT AT NINH BINH GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2022

Abstract
Objective: Describe the current status of self-care knowledge of cirrhosis patients treated as outpatients at Ninh Binh general hospital in 2022. Subjects and research methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study on 78 patients with cirrhosis treated as outpatients at Ninh Binh general hospital. Results: 71.8% of people with cirrhosis receiving outpatient treatment have correct knowledge about the need for regular check-ups. 76.9% of patients are aware of the harmful effects of smoking on people with cirrhosis. People with cirrhosis have the knowledge to choose appropriate physical activities with 79,364.1% of patients answering correctly. 83.3% of patients correctly understand the role of green vegetables and fruits in their diet. 69.2% of patients knew they needed to follow a salt-reducing diet during the edema phase. On average, 87.2% of patients have adequate knowledge about nutrition for patients with cirrhosis. Conclusion: Self-care knowledge of cirrhosis patients is not high, so it is necessary to further strengthen health education sessions on self-care knowledge for patients.
