Abstract

Objective: To describe the characteristics of women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) at the Central Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. Research method: Cross-sectional descriptive study with convenient sampling. Subjects: 1395 women undergoing IVF. Results: All women were of reproductive age, with the average age being 33.6±5.5 years. The proportion of group II infertility was 63.2%; the average duration of infertility was 3.83±3.11 years. The average low AMH result was 1.96±1.2 in women over 35 years old. 88.6% of women have had in vitro fertilization once. The highest rate of poor and low response was 32.7% in the low AMH group. Conclusion: IVF is mainly performed in women with group II infertility of reproductive age. The average duration of infertility is 3.83±3.11 years. Women over 35 years old tend to have low AMH levels. Low AMH levels are associated with a higher rate of poor and low response (32.7%).
