Abstract

Objectives: To describe the situation of anxiety and depression of inpatient cancer patients treated at Oncology Center, Military Hospital 175 in 2019. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study on 235 inpatient cancer patients at Oncology center, 175 military hospital. Quantitative data were collected by method of collecting secondary data from records. Medical history, interviews with questionnaires built on literature, were tested and perfected. Results: The overall prevalence of depression was 36.6%. In which mild depression was highest with 48%, followed by severe depression, no psychosis accounted for 20%, severe depression with psychosis 18%, moderate depression 14%.
