Sỏi thận ở trẻ em là 1 bệnh không thường gặp, nhưng cần được quản lý triệt để. Những tiến bộ công nghệ đã góp phần phát triển phương pháp can thiệp ít xâm lấn trong điều trị sỏi thận ở trẻ em, như phương pháp tán sỏi thận qua da (PCNL). Chúng tôi thông báo lâm sàng một trường hợp sỏi thận ở bệnh nhi 10 tuổi, được điều trị bằng phương pháp tán sỏi thận qua da ở bệnh viện Đại học Y Hà Nội. Qua đó, chúng tôi ghi nhận tính an toàn và hiệu quả của phương pháp tán sỏi thận qua da trong điều trị sỏi thận ở trẻ em.
