Abstract

The development of living donor liver transplantation technique has reduced the mortality rate of patients with end-stage liver disease. Maintaining biliary-enteric circulation plays an essential role in graft survival. Biliary complications increase the rate of graft failure and rejection, of which the most common complication is biliary stricture. Currently, interventional radiology has become a widespread, effective, and minimally invasive treatment method in the treatment of biliary complications after liver transplantation. We report a case of a 14-year-old male child with biliary-enteric anastomotic stenosis complication three months after living donor liver transplantation, who was successfully treated with interventional radiology at Vietnam National Children's Hospital.
