Abstract

Objective: To evaluate prostate biopsy results under ultrasound mixed magnetic resonance imaging in prostate cancer diagnosis. Subjects and methods: Prospective study on patients with indications for prostate biopsy, rectal ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging at K3 hospital from June 2020 to June/ 2021. Lesions observed on MRI but not clearly observed on ultrasound will be applied ultrasound mixed images when biopsies to accurately obtain tissue samples corresponding to lesions on MRI (MRI Fusion Biopsy). Compare the pathological results of the two biopsy methods to evaluate the value of the fusion biopsies. Results: 2 patients met the selection criteria. Targeted biopsies under mixed-image ultrasound have anatomical results comparable to systemic biopsies. Conclusion: Target biopsies with MRI fusion have similar values to biopsies of systemic prostate in diagnosis of prostate cancer.
