SOME FACTORS INFLUENCING NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF THE OFFICERS UNDER THE MANAGEMENT OF THE THAI BINH PROVINCIAL STANDING COMMITTEE

Abstract

Objective: The study aimed to assess the nutritional status of the officers under the management of the Thai Binh Provincial Standing Committee. Subjects: Surveyed included 800 incumbent officials and retired officials. Method: The epidemiological method described by a cross-sectional investigation. Results: Using alcohol was the most significant influence on the nutritional status of officers. The rate of overweight people using alcohol was 18.5%, the proportion of overweight and obese people who did not use alcohol was 11.3%. Those who had a habit of using alcohol were 1.8 times more likely to be overweight and obese than those who did not have a habit of using alcohol.
