Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the clinical outcomes of ovarian stimulation using an antagonist protocol with Follitropin Delta in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study included 120 infertile patients who underwent ovarian stimulation with Follitropin Delta for IVF. Outcomes assessed included the number of follicles on ultrasound, number of follicles retrieved, number of mature oocytes, fertilization rate, and the number of embryos obtained on Day 3 and Day 5. Results: The mean duration of ovarian stimulation was 10.76 ± 1.52 days. The mean total dose of Delta Follitropin administered was 145.25 ± 23.63 µg. The mean number of oocytes retrieved was 16.82 ± 7.85, with a high fertilization rate of 89%. The mean number of Day-3 embryos was 6.83 ± 5.34, while the mean number of Day-5 embryos was 4.62 ± 3.75. The mean number of good-quality Day-5 blastocysts was 3.55 ± 3.31. Conclusion: Ovarian stimulation using the antagonist protocol with Delta Follitropin demonstrated favorable outcomes, with a high number of oocytes retrieved and satisfactory embryo development on both Day 3 and Day 5. These findings suggest that  Delta Follitropin is an effective option for controlled ovarian stimulation in IVF cycles.
