Abstract

Objectives: to describe clinical characteristics of  smokers. Stydy subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study of 1882 smokes in Hanoi city from August 2019  to August 2020. Results: The percentage of male smokers was 96%; freelance workers 3%; 40 – 59 years old smokers was 43.8%; 11 – 20 years smoking time was 26.5%, red tongue appearance was 62.7% and prefer cool food was 47.9%. Conclusion: In Hanoi, male smokers make up the majority, mainly self-employed, at midle –age and the body constitution is Yang type.
