Abstract

Objectives: to estimate the demands of smoking cessation of smokers in Hanoi. Stydy subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study of 1882 smokes in Hanoi city from August 2019  to August 2020. Results: The percentage of smokers think smoking cessation is necessary account for 64.4%; the reasson  for quitting smoking “ smoking is harmful to health” was 57.8%, choosing tradional medicine products for smoking cessation was 55.4%. Conclusion: Smokers are aware smoking is harmful to health, smoking cessation is necessary and using traditonal medicine products is prefered.
