Abstract

Object: The relation between recuperation of anemia after first 6 months kidney transplant with age, sex of the donor and recipient, antirejection drugs, degree of pre-transplant anemia, volume and level donor glomerular filtration. Methods and subjects: Descriptive, followed up study in 168 kidney transplanted patients at before and at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months after renal transplant, at Military Hospital 103. Result of red blood cell indices and other cherecteristics of patients were selected. Results: The recuperation of anemia after first 6 months kidney transplant is negative significant multiple regression linear with pretransplant hemoglobin level, age of recipients, male recipients, male donors; it is not significant multiple regression linear with period of chronic kidney failure, GFR, volume and age of kidney donors. Conclusion: lower pretransplant hemoglobin level, young age of recipients, male recipients, male donors were related with high recuperation of anemia after first 6 months kidney transplant.
