THE STATUS OF SLEEP KNOWLEDGE OF PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION IN NAM PHONG COMMUNE, NAM DINH CITY, 2019

Abstract
The data were collected by face-to-face interviews among 148 hypertension patients in Nam Phong commune, Nam Dinh city, using a cross-sectional method that aimed at describing the sleep knowledge of hypertension patients. The results show that 49.3% of patients were males and 50.7% of them were females, 68.2% of them were aged greater than 60.75% had secondary academic level or lower, and 68.2% were farmers. The knowledge of sleep among respondents was still limited, clarified as 4.1% had a high level, 29% obtained a medium level, and 66.0% demonstrated a low level. The findings emphasized the need to improve the knowledge of sleep to hypertension patients through different health educational programs.
