Abstract

Objectives: collecting and identifying the characteristics samples of the reference standard bank for accreditation biologicals products for diagnostic of HIV. Materials: 1249 volunteers over 16 years old in 4 regions across the country. Results: The national reference standard bank gathers many types of participants, in which the group of injecting drugs, blood donors, commercial sex worker, and sex addicts accounted for a high proportion. The reference standard bank collected samples in 15 provinces representing 4 regions of the country: Northern, Central, Southern and Central Highlands. The results were developed by the national reference standard bank used for quality control of HIV diagnostic biological products, including: 405 positive samples, 802 negative samples, 42 difficult samples, and 03 sets of seroconversion samples.
