SURVEY OF WOMEN’S KNOWLEDGE DURING CHILDBEARING AGE ABOUT CONGENITALS IN DAN TIEN COMMUNITY IN 2020

Abstract

Objectives: Do a survey on the status of women’s knowledge during childbearing age about congenitals in Dan Tien community in 2020. Selection criteria: Women of childbearing age living in Dan Tien community. Research method: Cross-sectional description on 206 women of childbearing age in Dan Tien community, Vo Nhai district, Thai Nguyen province from January 2021 to June 2021. Results: The general knowledge about congenitals with good rate was only 20.4%, and the remaining 79.6% was not good. There was a relationship between education level, history of abortion, number of current children and health education communication, and general knowledge of congenitals. Conclusion: General knowledge of women about congenitals is still short . Recommendations: Actively communicate health education about congenitals to women in various forms.
