ĐÁNH GIÁ THỰC TRẠNG DINH DƯỠNG CỦA BỆNH NHÂN ĐIỀU TRỊ NỘI TRÚ TẠI BỆNH VIỆN Y HỌC CỔ TRUYỀN TỈNH NAM ĐỊNH

Abstract

Objective: To determine the rate of malnutrition and some biochemical and nutritional indicators of inpatients treated at the Nam Dinh Province Oriental Medicine Hospital. Subjects and methods: all inpatients at the Nam Dinh Province Oriental Medicine Hospital from February 1, 2022 to May 1, 2022, met the selection criterias. Study design: cross-sectional description. Results: The mean weight (kg) of male and female patients in the age group under 65 years old was higher than the weight in the same age group and over 65 years old. According to BMI, there are 52.4% patients at risk of malnutrition, 51.7% according to SGA and 43.2% according to MNA. The proportion of patients under 65 years of age with anemia and albumin deficiency was 25.5% and 1.0%, while patients over or equal to 65 years old were 34.2% and 2.7%. Conclusion: The average weight in the age group under 65 years old were higher than those in the same and over 65 years old.The rate of anemia and albumin deficiency in the age group under 65 years old were lower than those in the same and over 65 years old. It is necessary to combine different methods to assess the nutritional status of patients in different age groups.
