RESULTS OF CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT OF LIVER INJURY AT 115 PEOPLE’S HOSPITAL

Abstract

Through a study of 140 patients with liver injury who received emergency care and non-surgical conservative treatment at 115 People's Hospital from January 2016 to December 2020. Conservative treatment of liver injury in our study is a safe treatment with a success rate of 96.4%, with no deaths. The rate of successful preservation for grade II liver rupture is 100%, success rate for grade III is 96.5% and in grade IV is 91.1%. Result of conservative treatment: Good accounted for 95.7%; 01 case with average results due to complications of biliary fistula requiring abdominal drainage and then ERCP intervention to drain bile (0.7%); 05 cases of bad results required surgery (3.6%).
