RESEARCH ON CLINICAL FEATURES OF SCHIZOPRENIC PATIENTS WITH AND WITHOUT NEGATIVE SYMTOMS

Abstract
Objectives: Clinical features of schizophrenic patients with and without negative symptoms. Subject and methods: Decriptive research cross-section in 71 schizophrenic patients at the Psychiatric Department, 103 Military Hospital from January 2022 to August 2022. Results: Group with negative symptoms: mean age 38,73±9,57; duration of the disease 9,64±6,11; emotional blunting 54,05%; say muttered alone 58,44%; poor seft-care 70,30%; loss spririt 86,54%; wander 40.54%; delusions 64,86% and hallucinations 51,35%. Group without negative symptoms: mean age 24,67±7,79; duration of the disease 3,05±2,09, both delusions and hallucinations accounted for 97,05%; the most common are persecutory delusions 70,83% and auditory hallucination comments 82,35%. PANSS scale score: group without negative symptoms has total PANSS scale (91.82±20.25) and N-PANSS (15.85±4.50); group with negative symptoms has total PANSS scale (108.49±19.13) and N-PANSS (33.43±7.06). Conclusion: Schizophrenia with negative symptoms had a longer duration of the disease than the group without negative symptoms. The common symptoms are emotional blunting, say muttered alone, poor seft-care, loss spririt, wander .
