Abstract

Objectives: Describe clinical and subclinical characteristics of laryngeal papilloma at children. Subjects and methods: Prospective descriptive study on 34 patients with laryngeal papilloma in National Otorhinolaryngology Hospital from 1/2021 to 7/2022. Results: The rate of hoarseness is 100%, dyspnea is 94,1%, and hoarseness level correlate with level dyspnea; only one case (2,9%) has cough and one case has caught in the throat. Laryngoscopy images are common in papilloma in glottis (88,2%), mainly in both vocal cords (61,8%); macroscopic of papilloma is mostly “grape-like” (88,2%) and pinkish (82,4). Pathology shows 100% benign, there is no case which has change in cellular structure. Conclusion: The most common symptoms of laryngeal papilloma is hoarseness (100%) and dyspnea (94,1%) with correlated, tumors are predominantly observed in the glottis (88,2%) as “grape-like” (88,2%) with a 100% benign rate.
