RESEARCH ON THE APPLICATION OF EXCEL SOFTWARE IN MANAGEMENT, TRACKING OF DRUGS AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES AT PRISON INFIRMARY – NAM DINH PROVINCIAL POLICE

Abstract
Objectives: Evaluating the effectiveness of excel software application in management and monitoring of drugs and medical supplies at prison infirmay - Nam Dinh Provincial Police in 2021-2023. Subjects and research methods: The study design is descriptive, controlled intervention at prison infirmay - Nam Dinh Provincial Police. Research subjects are health workers involved in the management of drugs and medical supplies, officers and soldiers, prisoners and records, books, vouchers and application of Excel software to manage drugs and medical supplies. Results: The research results show that: The efficiency index when applying the management of drugs and medical supplies by Excel is 40% for books, 70% for drug warehouse receipts, and for materials warehouse receipts. 75% for medical supplies, 90% for drug release notes, 95% for medical supplies release notes, 50% for inventory records, 75 for monthly drug budgets %, for the daily drug summary sheet is 100%. The application of Excel software in the management and monitoring of drugs and medical supplies at the infirmary of the provincial police detention camp has brought many benefits to management activities such as increasing the accuracy and completeness of information, while helping to manage and monitor more effectively. Reporting and evaluation of results are also done more quickly, accurately and completely. Conclusion: Excel software has helped increase the accuracy and completeness of information, making the management and tracking of drugs and medical supplies more efficient. Data storage, reporting and evaluation of results are faster, more accurate and complete.
