TRAUMATIC BONE CYST IN MANDIBULAR: DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT

Abstract

A 19 year-old male patient, coming to the maxillofacial examination, accidentally discovered a lesion in the lower jaw bone after taking X-rays of his teeth to check his wisdom teeth. The history of the disease has not been recorded with traumatic lesions in the lower jaw. Clinically, there were no symptoms of swelling, pain, numbness of the lips and chin, and the pulp vitality test of the related teeth was positive. The lesion was diagnosed as a traumatic bone cyst in the mandible, the indicated treatment method is surgical excision of the traumatic bone cyst and pathology.
