Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the pregnant women to give birth at VinmecTimescity International General Hospital from November 2020 to October 2021,evaluation of the effectiveness of pain relief with epidural anesthesia and a number of related factors. We conducted a prospective descriptive study of 180 patients divided into 2 groups: obstetricians with epidural and controls. The research results indicate that women under the age of 35 are the majority in both groups. The first delivery in the epidural anesthesia group was statistically significantly higher than that in the non-epidural anesthesia group (p<0.01). Women in the epidural group felt less anxious and satisfied about the delivery process than the the non-epidural anesthesia group (P<0,05).
