Abstract

Kidney stones are a common urological condition that can affect patients of all ages, including children. Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that has been widely used in the treatment of kidney stones, offering high safety and stone clearance rates. We report the case of a 2-year-old pediatric patient who underwent PCNL for the treatment of kidney stones at Hospital E. Through this case, we observed the effectiveness and safety of percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the management of kidney stones in children.
