BƯỚC ĐẦU ĐÁNH GIÁ TÁC DỤNG CỦA VIÊN NÉN “KIỆN NÃO ĐAN” TRONG ĐIỀU TRỊ ĐẦU THỐNG

Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the effects of "Kien nao dan" tablets in patients with headache and to monitor its adverse effects. Subjects and methods: Controlled clinical interventional study, comparing before and after treatment. 60 patients were divided into 2 groups similar in terms of pain severity, age group and duration of headache. The study group was treated with Kien nao dan combined with Tanakan, the control group was treated with Tanakan. Results: The study group administered a combination of Kien nao dan and Tanakan had the significant reduce in the average VAS score, PSQI score and quality of life score compared to those at before treatment (p < 0.05) and  those of the control group administered Tanakan (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Kien nao dan was effective in treating patients with headache and no clinical or laboratory adverse effects were reported during the study.
