Abstract

Objectives: Evaluate the change in the craniovertebral angle (CVA) before and after practicing a group of 05 upper back exercises according to Nguyen Van Huong's exerciese method on students with a forward head posture. Subjects and Method: The study was designed by a before–after study without a control group, conducted on 30 students with forward head posture at the Faculty of Traditional Medicine - University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, from January 2023 to June 2023. Results: After 8 weeks of training with 3 sessions/week, there was a significant difference in the baseline values after training in craniovertebral angle. Conclusions: A group of 05 upper back exercises according to Nguyen Van Huong's nourishing method increases the craniovertebral angle and improves the forward head posture in students.
