STUDY ON ACUTE TOXICITY AND EFFECTS OF TD0070 CAPSULES ON GENERAL IMMUNE INDICATORS IN EXPERIMENTAL ANIMALS
Main Article Content
Abstract
Research objective: Study on acute toxicity and effects of TD0070 hard capsules on general immune indices in white mice. Subjects and methods: Swiss white mice, purebred, both breeds, weighing 20 ± 2 grams. Acute toxicity study and determination of LD50 of hard capsule TD0070 on mice orally. Studying the effects of TD0070 hard capsules on general immune indices in white mice using intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide causing immunodeficiency. Result: The LD50 in mice of oral TD0070 hard capsules has not been determined. TD0070 hard capsules with a maximum dose of 75 ml/kg, equivalent to 37.5 tablets/kg, show no signs of acute toxicity. TD0070 dose of 3,456 g/kg (double the clinical dose) tends to improve the relative weight of the spleen and thymus, clearly improving the damage to the spleen and thymus organs on pathological images. Microscopic, total white blood cell count, neutrophil and monocyte count were higher than the dose of 1,728 g/kg and the levamisol dose of 10 mg/kg on all indicators (except spleen weight). However, there is no statistically significant difference. Conclusion: The LD50 in mice of oral TD0070 hard capsules has not been determined. The maximum tolerated dose (Always 50% less than the lethal dose) of TD0070 Hard Capsules is: 37.5 tablets/kg. TD0070 dose of 3,456 g/kg (double the clinical dose) tends to improve general immune indices in mice better than the dose of 1,728 g/kg (clinical dose) and levamisol dose of 10 mg/kg. kg on all indices (except relative spleen weight).
