Abstract

Subject: Finding out the results of Rehabilitation treatment for patients with knee stiffness at the Department of Rehabilitation of Hai Duong Rehabilitation Hospital. Methods: The research design uses an interventional, prospective, non-controlled research method. Including 30 patients who met the criteria for selection into the study. Convenient way to choose samples. Use the Lysholm scale to evaluate. Results: Female patients aged from 51 to 70 accounted for a high proportion (72.2%), while men aged under 50 accounted for the majority (75%). Using the Lysholm scale to evaluate the level of functional independence showed that physical therapy/rehabilitation intervention was effective. Some improvement indicators included pain and swelling reduction, increase muscle strength and knee joint range of motion, increased ability to climb stairs, and reduced need to use mobility aids. Conclusion: The Lysholm scale is suitable for use in assessing knee function. Affirming the treatment role of Rehabilitation, especially the earlier the intervention, the more effective it was.
